This seminar will examine the significant implications of South Africa’s newly established Government of National Unity (GNU) following the 2024 elections on both domestic and foreign policy fronts. Participants will explore how this political coalition influences current governance, policy reforms, and socio-economic development within South Africa. The seminar will also analyse how the 2024 GNU shapes South Africa’s diplomatic strategies, international relations, and role within regional and global arenas. The event will provide a platform for experts, policymakers, students, and stakeholders to engage in critical dialogue and analysis.
