Maximising Impact: How to Publish High-Impact AI Research

The Taylor & Francis Group in collaboration with the Institute for the Future of Knowledge hosted an exclusive workshop titled “Maximising Impact: How to Publish High-Impact AI Research.” 

In this session, we focused on “How to publish Scholarly Books and Open Access” and intends to cover the “ins and outs” of publishing technical books with a global publisher with a focus on the subject area of “Artificial Intelligence”.
The session will offer a glimpse into different processes involved in writing a book with a global publisher including formulating book proposals, timelines, copyrights, royalties, and other important factors. It also touched on publishing ethics and Open Access. This presentation intended to cover, thought process before you start writing, compilation and submission of formal proposals, peer-review process, contracts, how pre-production and production works, understanding copyright permissions, royalties, open access books and so forth. It also focused on the latest trends and subject intelligence in the broader subject area of Artificial Intelligence and its allied areas including information on prominent researchers, funders, institutions, and so forth.

This workshop is useful to all professionals who need comprehensive understanding on research publishing: Industry Professionals / Academicians from Institutions / Teaching Faculty / Students.
