The Institute for the Future of Knowledge (IFK) at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) and UJ’s Johannesburg Business School (JBS) will hold a Panel Discussion: Higher Education 4.0: Driver of Educational Reform or Intellectual Ruin?

The 4th Industrial Revolution has brought with it many technologies and hence opportunities to re-envision education within higher degree institutions. We consider the impact of these various technologies on teaching and assessment methodologies and investigate to what extent they can help to revolutionise education or become a stumbling block to the pursuit of knowledge.
